Building Character at Camp

Renowned child therapist and camp expert Bob Ditter speaks about the incredible opportunity camp staff have to make a difference in the lives of the campers they serve. Every camp professional is an educator. What we all teach, sometimes unwittingly, is character. Bob will cite some riveting statistics and highlight various influences in our society that actually thwart or inhibit character development and how camp can be a powerful counter balance to helping children be more successful in life.

In this webinar, participants will learn:

  1. Seven Core Character Traits most child development experts agree on
  2. Two most critical or "master" character traits of these 7
  3. Current cultural factors that may inhibit character development
  4. How camp supports and encourages character development
