Camper Sexuality and Its Implications for Camp Professionals

The landscape regarding sexuality has changed dramatically for children and teenagers in just the past 10 years. This program presents the latest facts on adolescent sexuality, then reveals how these issues show up at camp. As Bob says, unless your campers leave their sexuality at the camp's front gate, they are asking  about sex, talking about sex and sharing their experience with sex at camp!"  The final part of the program offers guidelines for staff regarding their work with campers around issues of sexuality that may arise at camp.

In this webinar, participants will learn:
1. Current sexual attitudes, practices and thinking of camper age children;
2. How these issues manifest themselves at camp; and
3. Guidelines for staff for responding to these issues.
