Nature Instructors Clinic

June 16, 2019 - 11:30am to June 21, 2019 - 4:00pm

All times local.

This is an in residence workshop that teaches participants how to teach kids about nature. It is hands on, it includes lesson planning, place-based lessons and much more. Some have called it "Nature Boot Camp". When you finish, you'll be ready to design a program that fits your camp, your kids, and your specific location. The clinic is limited to 13 participants who get personalized attention from the three instructors. Larry Davis is Director of Nature Programs and Teaching at Camp Pemigewassett.  He has been presented with the New England Environmental Alliance's Non-formal Environmental Education Award. Russ Brummer is Chair of the Science Department at the New Hampton School. Deb Kure is Associate Head of Nature Programs at Camp Pemigewassett and an instrutor at Sierra Journeys in Reno, NV.
