ACA, Southern California/Hawaii Counselor to Career (C2C) Summit

Join us this spring for ACA’s newest program for our elite emerging professionals in the camp industry, the Counselor to Career Summit! Experience two and a half days of TRANSFORMATION, NETWORKING and LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT as we connect the talented next generation of camp leaders with titans in the industry! The C2C Summit is a platform that provides participants with the opportunity to gain a more clear and precise understanding of the camp profession.

ACA, Southwest New Director Orientation

New Director Orientation (NDO) is a special 6 hour course (6 CECs) for seasonal or new camp directors, assistant directors, program directors, or persons that have been in other administrative positions and are considering directing a camp. The NDO course helps directors and supervisors develop the skills they need to be effective leaders for their camp program. The course covers five critical areas: camp management leadership, risk management, camper behavior, staff training, and staff supervision. Lunch will be provided.

ACA, Chesapeake Winter Training Event

ACA, Chesapeake will host the Winter Training Event on February 24, 2016. Featuring breakout sessions tailored toward your specific professional development needs, the event will provide you with ideas that you can implement at your camp for the 2016 summer season. The Chesapeake Winter Training Event is held at beautiful YMCA Camp Letts.

Join us for our January Campy Hour! With the ACA conference in Atlanta quickly approaching, it will be fun to connect and see who is going.
