Hot Topics Impacting Indiana Camps

ACA Indiana has been tasked with compiling a list of the top 3-5 "Hot Topics" impacting camps and youth in the state of Indiana.  This information is being compiled by all of the ACA sections in order to give ACA National this important feedback.  Take three minutes to provide us with your list.

Please join us for the Indiana Winter Gathering at Flat Rock River YMCA Camp. Don’t miss this top-notch day that will allow you to learn, grow, network and explore topics that are applicable to everyone in the camp community.  A variety of educational opportunities including a keynote by Jack Schott of Camping Coast to Coast, breakout sessions, roundtable discussions, and tours of Flat Rock River YMCA Camp will be offered.

Heart and Soul Award

The Heart and Soul Award is the highest honor awarded by ACA, Indiana to individuals and organizations. One is awarded annually unless the Awards Committee determines that no candidate is available for that year.

To qualify, the individual must meet the following criteria:

Public Policy in ACA, Indiana

As an educational nonprofit association, the American Camp Association is dedicated to providing quality, reliable, and up-to-date information about the laws and regulations applicable to the camp community.  To that end, ACA partners with other organizations to advocate for quality camp experiences, and to increase the understanding of and support for the value of the camp experience for all children and families.  The ACA, Indiana Field Office monitors public policy issues impacting the camp community in Indiana.  Access our database of state laws and regulations for details. 

Volunteer in ACA, Indiana

The American Camp Association is dedicated to our Mission — to enrich the lives of children, youth and adults through the camp experience. Expansively, we focus on the promotion of human development. While we utilize diverse delivery systems and methods, we have one common foundation...  Volunteers.

Indiana Council of Leaders
