The American Camp Association is an Indiana nonprofit public benefit corporation, governed in accordance with the Indiana Nonprofit Corporation Act of 1991. The Association's business and affairs are overseen by its Board of Directors, as set forth in the Association's Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws. To further guide organizational governance, the Board has adopted policies that define the governance process, executive limitations, and the Board–CEO relationship.
