The American Camp Association is an Indiana nonprofit corporation, organized as a public benefit corporation, and is governed by the applicable provisions of the Indiana Nonprofit Corporation Act of 1991. The business and affairs of the corporation are governed by its Board of Directors, as prescribed by the association’s Articles of Corporation and Bylaws. The Board of Directors has also established policies, which define the association ENDS and which further prescribe the governance process, executive limitations, and the Board-CEO relationship.
