The NASA Office of STEM Engagement invites proposals from nonprofit informal education institutions, including camps, for two awards level offered via NASA’s 2024 Teams Engaging Affiliated Museums and Informal Institutions (TEAM II) funding opportunity.
Community Anchor awards support institutions in strengthening their service as a local NASA STEM informal education community resource. The new STEM Innovator awards are designed to support institutions serving as a regional resource, and that are working to enhance innovative practices in STEM informal education.
All TEAM II awardees provide inquiry- or experiential-based educational opportunities with direct alignment to major NASA missions for students and the public, and their learning support systems of families and informal and formal educators and institutions.
Community Anchor Awards for TEAM II
- Proposals due: August 27
- Individual award range: Up to $50K
- Period of Performance: 1–2 years
STEM Innovator
- Proposals due: September 26
- Individual award range: Up to $250k
- Period of Performance: 2–3 years
