National Travel Deals

The American Camp Association has partnered with National Travel Deals for an exceptional program, which provides ACA members with a 5 percent discount on car rental. National Travel Deals matches this discount and provides it back to the ACA!

National Travel Deals has rates that, in most cases, beat direct suppliers and online travel sites.  Plus, ACA members receive an additional 5 percent off of their rates, and 5 percent comes back to help send children to camp!  It is a true partnership.

Ford Fleet

The American Camp Association is pleased to announce a new member benefit through Ford Fleet Customer Association Incentive Program (CAI). ACA is now a qualified member association with Ford Fleet. The CAI program is specifically tailored to your needs with an off-invoice fleet incentive and bonus customer cash payment. Your camp will be eligible for discounts on new vehicles.

How does this work?

Your camp will need an active Ford Commercial Fleet Identification Number (FIN).

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

As part of FEMA’s ongoing catastrophic planning efforts to expand national sheltering, feeding and evacuation capacity for up to 1.75 million disaster survivors, FEMA is developing agreements with private sector and voluntary organization partners to lease facilities and land during Presidentially declared disasters.

American Red Cross

In order to meet several of the American Camp Association standards, certification in CPR/AED, first aid, or lifeguarding is required. To assist ACA-accredited camps in meeting these standards, ACA is pleased to announce a continued partnership with the American Red Cross that will provide a 20-percent discount for Red Cross Health and Safety training for ACA-accredited camps!

Your 20% discount for Red Cross Health and Safety training applies to:

  • Red Cross Training Service courses that an ACA-accredited camp offers as an authorized provider.
  • Full Service Courses provided by the American Red Cross at an ACA-accredited camp’s location.

The discount is applied when the course record is submitted.

At this time, the American Camp Association requires that any aquatic, first aid, and CPR/AED certification must include, at minimum, 50% of course time to include in-person instruction, hands-on practice, and skills assessment under the direct supervision of a certified instructor. It is acceptable to have a portion of the course be completed online (course readings, etc.).  Note that the discount does not apply to Learn-to-Swim Facility fees or to Aquatic Examiner Service fees.

The American Red Cross shelters, feeds, and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies about 40 percent of the nation's blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports U.S. military members and their families. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.

To access the discount, you will need to have an active ACA individual membership.
