October 20 Keynote: Tony McGaharan

Tony McGaharan is the Founder and CEO of People Playbook, a global leadership and team-development company that helps organizations build stronger cultures and high-performing teams. Tony has designed and delivered development experiences for organizations including Google, L'Oreal, FIFA, Squarespace and other teams around the world.

Tony's connection to Camp began with three summers at Camp Weequahic in Pennsylvania, where he served as Athletic Director. In the role, he trained and supported coaching staff across multiple sports, helping them apply consistent principles and practivies to create a remarkable experience for every camper. His wider career also included peace-building work with PeacePlayers International, using sport to bring young people and communities together.

Having lived and worked in the United States, Sweden, Singapore, the UK and Ireland, Tony brings and international perspective to leadership and team culture. His work draws together lessons from camp, sport, peacebuilding, his experience leading teams at Google, and his experience suppoorting leaders across various industries and geographies. At the heart of his approach is a simple belief: the strongest teams are built intentionally, through trust, clarity, connection and the everyday behaviors of their leaders.
