The 2024 Staffing Summit will feature critical learning, speaker panels, roundtables, and engaging sessions spanning three days. The virtual delivery of the conference increases the benefits of convenience and value while preserving the great networking and timely information, which are hallmarks of ACA conferences. We will share practical solutions addressing the staffing shortage, innovative ways to recruit staff, and best practices for staff retention.
The 2024 Staffing Summit will offer 45 sessions on out-of-the-box ways to connect with staff, virtual job fairs and interviewing, recruiting specialized staff, and so much more. Session recordings will be available to attendees until December 1. Each day will have featured speakers, keynote presentations from industry thought leaders, and networking opportunities to share resources and ideas. Don’t miss one of the most important events of the season!
Early-bird deadline ends October 1, 2024. Registration fee includes access to recorded sessions for 30 days following the conference.

Volunteers who sign-up for a minimum of two volunteer sessions will be given a complimentary registration to the Staffing Summit.
There are three volunteer roles to choose from. Please select the role that best suits your needs, interests, and abilities on the registration form.
Volunteer Registration
Jill Lyons is a strategic creative operations leader and award-winning executive producer and writer. Jill currently leads creative operations at Maximum Effort, Ryan Reynolds’ creative engine. Prior, she was EVP of Delivery at Hawkeye Agency, a Publicis company, where she led project management, operations and the activation practices of media, integrated production, enterprise technology, change communications and experiential. Prior to joining Hawkeye, Jill was Head of Creative Agency Operations for Allstate, where she brought order, structure and strategy to the creative process across production, creative and UX teams. Before Allstate, Jill led as VP, Business Operations & Production at Epsilon Agency, where she merged data-driven insights with compelling creative for all clients across all mediums, managed a global team of producers, editors, animators and designers, and led new business operations. For a decade, Jill was part of the legendary team at Harpo Studios, where she wrote and produced dynamic on and off-air promos, integrated marketing and branded entertainment content for OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, The Dr. Oz Show and The Oprah Winfrey Show.
Jill’s a futurist and a thought leader who routinely speaks on DEI, organizational design & change management, creativity & productivity. In 2017 she was named to AdWeek’s “Young Influentials” list.
Jill also writes, produces and (occasionally) performs comedy for the stage and screen, and her work has been featured on secondcitynetwork.com, The Second City, The Den Theatre, and Stage 773.
Born and raised in Chicago, she holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Pepperdine University. She is also a graduate from The Second City Training Center’s comedy writing program. She serves on boards for Chicago Foundation for Women, Safe Families For Children, Camp Tecumseh, and is an advisor for The Juggl. She’s a mom, a yogi, and a lover of a good pun and a growth mindset.
Dr. Patrice Buckner Jackson, known in her community as Dr. PBJ, gives educators the strategies for accomplishing purposeful work without burnout.
Dr. PBJ is an educator of almost 25 years and an Executive Coach for more than 10 years. She holds a doctoral degree in Education Administration, served in executive leadership at colleges and universities, and facilitated leadership training as a faculty member for the Center for Creative Leadership. Dr. Jackson worked in higher education at many levels, from student assistant to President’s Cabinet and is the recipient of several professional awards and accolades.
Dr. Jackson founded EduCare Training and Consulting, LLC through a purpose of pouring in to those who pour out so much. Much of her work is specifically focused on equipping and refreshing educators. Compassionate work can carry a high price tag: your mind, body, spirit and relationships may be in distress as you serve the needs of others. Dr. Jackson leads her community to serve well without paying an ultimate price.
Dr. PBJ is the creator and host of the Disrupting Burnout podcast as well as the author of the Amazon #1 new release and Amazon best-seller, Disrupting Burnout: The professional woman’s LIFELINE to finding purpose.
Leah Mesches is the ultimate camp enthusiast and leadership expert. She brings decades of experience building thriving communities in summer camps, honed through her camper, counselor, and director roles. Her passion for fostering positive growth led her to pursue an MSW in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.
Leveraging her camp-forged leadership skills, Leah has spent the last five years in the corporate world, specializing in attracting global talent and cultivating high-performing teams. She's passionate about training, mentoring, and creating positive employee experiences.
Currently, Leah serves on the Board of Directors for Austin Sunshine Camps and is enjoying some well-deserved family time. She's excited to share her expertise on building strong camp teams at this conference.
