Protecting young people today means thinking beyond the physical spaces we create—it means showing up in the digital world, too. As more youth connect virtually, so do the risks of grooming, exploitation, and abuse. Prevention starts with informed, trusted adults who know what to look for and how to respond. Attend live to ask questions and engage with the presenter, or watch the recording at your convenience, available for 30 days following the live event. This webinar is free to everyone.
Why You Should Attend
Join the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Know2Protect: Together We Can Stop Online Child Exploitation® campaign for a live, interactive virtual presentation designed specifically for youth-serving professionals. You’ll learn how predators operate in digital spaces, how to spot signs of exploitation, and how to apply realistic safety measures within your program. This experience also connects you with free tools and age-appropriate resources from Homeland Security Investigations that help you create safer virtual environments and empower youth to protect themselves. This live webinar is ideal for camp directors, seasonal and year-round staff, educators, and others working directly with youth in both in-person and virtual environments.
