Concussion recommendations have changed significantly, yet outdated advice, such as never allowing a child to sleep after a concussion or requiring prolonged rest in a dark room, continues to shape how head injuries are managed. This webinar will provide up-to-date medical guidance on recognizing concussion symptoms, identifying neurological red flags, and determining when emergency care is necessary. Participants will also learn evidence-informed approaches to early recovery, return to school and camp activities, and safe return to play.

Why You Should Attend

  • Learn to identify when a head injury may represent a concussion.

  • Recognize signs that require urgent or emergency evaluation.

  • Apply current recommendations for recovery and return to activity.
