WA Camp Tours

Head into your summer camp season feeling energized, connected, and with new ideas sparked at your camp with a day of Camp Tours! Join us to learn from other camp properties and programs, and network with fellow camp professionals as you get ready to kick off Summer 2026! Each tour highlights different program and facility areas unique to each camp. We will visit: YMCA Lake Wenatchee, Camp Zanika Lache, Camp Koinonia, and Lazy F Camp & Retreat Center.

We know camp people are busy gearing up for summer, so these tours are spread out across two days. You can choose to just come on one day or both! If you are planning to join both days, participants are invited to stay over at Camp Zanika Lache (bring your own sleeping bags for rustic camp cabin accommodations) or arrange their own lodging in Leavenworth.

This is an open invitation to all ACA members and non-members; we encourage you to invite your emerging professional staff, program staff, and facility folks.  This event is free, but please RSVP. Questions? [email protected] 

Monday May 11

• Noon: Meet at YMCA Lake Wenatchee (15263 N Shore Dr A, Leavenworth, WA 98826)
• 12:15 - 1:45: Tour Lake Wenatchee
• Drive to Camp Zanika Lache - 15 min (16400 Cedar Brae Rd, Leavenworth, WA 98826)
• 2- 3:30 pm: Tour Camp Zanika Lache
• Optional Evening: 
  • Dinner Social - Dinner and BINGO social at the Squirrel Tree restaurant in Leavenworth. 
  • Overnight Lodging - Participants can stay for free at Camp Zainka Lache. These are rustic cabin-style accommodations; bring your own sleeping bag and bedding. Breakfast is provided in the morning.

Tuesday May 12

• 10 am: Meet at Lazy F Camp (16170 Manastash Rd, Ellensburg, WA 98926)
• 10:15 – 11:45: Tour Lazy F Camp
• Drive to Camp Koinonia - 45 min (850 Camp Koinonia Ln, Cle Elum, WA 98922)
• 12:15 – 2:15: Tour Camp Koinonia, lunch is provided!
