ACA, Southern California/Hawaii is administered by a Local Council of Leaders who, working with staff, coordinates education events, administers the accreditation program, offers member support and provides information to the general public and the camping community.

Purpose of the Local Council of Leaders
The Local Council of Leaders (LCOL) is made up of dedicated volunteers assembled throughout the field office with the following purpose and call to action:

  • To provide local structure and delivery to further the strategic priorities and vision of ACA, Inc.
  • To act as a conduit for communication and transfer of information to and from the local level to the National Council of Leaders

What gifts/talents do you have to offer ACA, Southern California/Hawaii and how would you like to volunteer? Let us know if you're interested in a one-time volunteering opportunity, becoming a standards visitor, joining a committee or work group, or just interested in learning more!

Contact Janette Kunkel [email protected] if you would like to become more involved with the Southern California/Hawaii Field Office.
