The Alliance of Oregon Camps is launching an advocacy campaign, Open Oregon Camps 2021, to advocate for the safe opening of overnight camps for this summer. We NEED YOUR HELP and your families’ voices to assist us in this endeavor.
What: Letter writing or electronic advocacy outreach to Governor Kate Brown
Who: Invite parents and campers who HAVE ALREADY REGISTERED for your camp this summer OR camp families who support the safe reopening of overnight camps.
When: Now is the time! Other states have begun to announce the opening of overnight camps across the country. We need to make some noise now. Please email your camp families right away.
How: Send an email asking your camp families to join in this advocacy. See Sample email to your camp families below.
