CampSafe Director Certification

CampSafe is an innovative eLearn training empowering camp staff with awareness of child sexual abuse prevention. This interactive approach to prevention increases the personal safety of campers and staff across North America. The training is a 35-minute, interactive eLearn providing all staff with knowledge and awareness, and increased skills and confidence around the issues of sexual abuse. While educating directors, staff and parents, this proactive approach  to social emotional and behavioral health includes best practices for screening staff, policy and procedures, and modeling healthy relationships and consent. CampSafe is provided by KidSafeFoundation, the leader in sexual abuse prevention education. 

Our goal is to make all camps safer for children and staff. Educated Staff, Safer Camps.

At the conclusion of this training all staff will be able to:

  • Identify the signs of sexual abuse and characteristics of a child in need.
  • Describe and recognize the signs of grooming in a camp setting.
  • Follow professional camp protocol to seek supervision regarding any concerns or to report abuse. 

Evaluation Process:
Pre and Post testing. Specific knowledge check evaluation.  Post summer interviews and surveys with Directors.
