Volunteer Opportunities
Here is your chance to volunteer to help. Whether you would like to work as a volunteer to receive a partial rebate on your registration fee (registration rebates are limited) or simply to make a contribution to your association, you can help make this an amazing event.
Conference Location
The 2027 conference will be held at the Kentucky International Convention Center (KICC), a premier, state-of-the-art venue surrounded by world-class attractions, dining, and entertainment. Louisville's vibrant downtown is rich in culture, history, and fun — explore exciting options such as Fourth Street Live!, the Urban Bourbon Trail, Museum Row, Whiskey Row, the Louisville Slugger Museum, the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts, and much more.

Conference Hotels
We have contracted room blocks at multiple hotels close to the convention center. Please review the hotel options below and follow the links provided to make your reservation. Booking in one of the contracted hotel blocks is the best way to be surrounded by fellow attendees, making it easier to connect, network, and keep the conversation going before and after sessions.

2027 ACA Research Forum

The Camp Research Forum is a space where researchers and camp professionals come together to share, discuss, and learn about new evidence about campers, staff, programs, and the communities camps serve. Held each year at the ACA National Conference, the Camp Research Forum welcomes interdisciplinary research from faculty, students, applied researchers, and camp professionals committed to work that is rigorous and relevant for practice.
The 2027 Camp Research Forum will be held in conjunction with the American Camp Association National Conference, February 16-19, in Louisville, KY.
Rooted in ACA's commitment to inclusion, the Camp Research Forum prioritizes research that reflects the full range of experiences within the camp field. We seek research that advances both knowledge and practice in the camp field. Camp Research Forum submissions will remain open until September 30, 2026.

Steps to Download
For Android and Apple users, search for ACA Conferences in the App Store/Google Play or click the respective image below to be redirected.
You can also access the web-based version of the app from your web browser. Just visit this link to get the app on your smartphone, tablet, or PC.
Getting Started with the App
Follow these steps:
- Open the ACA event in the app.
- Sign in with the email you used for conference registration.
- Create or enter a passcode (password).
- If you’ve used the app for a previous ACA event, you can try that same password.
- If it doesn’t work, create a new one or reset your password.
- Set up your profile.
- Tap Profile to update your information, upload a photo, and adjust your sharing settings.

- If you were preregistered, you only need to create or enter a passcode.
- If you were not preregistered and have never used the app before, you’ll need to create an account.
Refresh Your App for the Latest Updates
- First time opening the app? Tap the refresh button at the top of the side menu.
